Band Information ...

One man, one violin. Doesn't sound like much does it? It doesn't that is until you've heard one in the hands of electric violinist Geoffrey Castle! A unique voice on an unusual instrument, Castle's career includes time spent as a street musician in New York City, performing in the Broadway production of the Tony Award-winning M. Butterfly with Tony Randall, playing with rock greats like Blues Traveler, Jimmy Buffet, Alan White, Buddy Miles, Roger Fisher, Mike Derosier, Ann & Nancy Wilson, and lots more.

All former “full time” professional musicians, Marc, Bob, Mark and Woody have a combined musical experience of 170 years. The Hectones are unique in that they use a Hammond B-3 organ and they all sing.  This makes for a “fat” sound and rich harmonies.  They also have a Varity of musical guests show up to lend a hand with all the fun.

Some of the Pacific Northwest music groups represented  in members of the Fabulous Hectones include:  Mirkwood Slowcoach,  The Big Dog Revue, Superband, Clear Logic, Cincinnati Rail, Tiny Tony and The Statics, Interstate 5, Aftermath, Rapid Transit, Barney Armstrong Revue, Ralph, Everest, The Pageboys, Shelley and the Curves, and many other Northwest bands.

“This ain't no wimpy dance band!!! Playing all your favorite tunes from the 60's - today, THE POP TARTS bring back the fire & thrill of a real rock show!!! So put on your dancing shoes, get ready to rock and make a date to spend an evening with the 'Tarts ... for a night you won't soon forget :-)”

"Seattle's Adrian Xavier blended sax and fiddle, reggae and soul, in a highly appealing musical brew."

"Energetic and honey-voiced, his long dreadlocks swinging in the breeze, Xavier sang feel-good songs on the Seattle Center lawn, about how we should take care of the planet and be good to each other.

His grooves were fetchingly danceable. He and his band kept surprising with eclectic riffs, off-center rhythms and fresh instrumental combinations."
